Wasantha Handapangoda is the President of the Sri Lanka Podujana Education Services Union. She has been arrested in connection to the May 09 unrest in Sri Lanka. Evidence was found for her involvement in the attacks on peaceful anti-government protesters near the Temple Trees and at the Galle Face Green in Colombo by SLPP loyalists.
Wasantha Handapangoda is among six suspects arrested over the unrest, which also includes the son of the Moratuwa Mayor, three employees of the Moratuwa Municipal Council, and a Colombo Municipal Councilor. The Police said the suspects will be produced in court after recording statements over the unrest.

University of Colombo.
These entities formed for hidden
agenda. At least (PSUNU) members are to understand the objectives and expected
output of appointing a monk in a nursing union. The corrupted-robed man Muruththettuwe Ananda had
made his way to accomplish his goals.
