SRI LANKAN OLIGARCHS TO PARLIAMENT (11-06-2022)

 You may have heard about the Russian billionaire business group Oligarchs, considered the closest circle to Russian President Vladimir Putin, which makes important governance decisions with Putin. Many oligarchs use their political affiliations to operate like a mafia, plundering the country's resources. With the Russian invasion of Ukraine, many of its foreign assets were frozen.

It is an open secret that Sri Lankan Avaricious dealers, like Russia's oligarchs, are pumping billions into the maintenance of political parties. In particular, there are plenty of examples of the UNP, the SLFP, and the SLPP party in power being swallowed up by these Avaricious dealers.

They are called Avaricious dealers because they have no Fair-Trading Policies. True entrepreneurs call fraudulent trades, billions in tax evasion, consumerism, stock market manipulation (pumping & dumping), market monopolies, black money laundering, and gambling. I consider it disrespectful.

As soon as Gotabhaya Rajapaksa came to power, the government lost an annual revenue of Rs. 600 billion. In addition, Shangri-La Hotel owner Mohamed Moussoon alone, who was a fundraiser for the” Viyathmaga”, earned illicit revenue of 26 billion due to the sugar and coconut oil tax breaks.

From August 2012 to January 2015, the government lost Rs. 11.5 billion, the then-Attorney General Dappula de Livera stated in a three-judge panel during a court case against Nissanka Senadhipathi, the chairman of Avant-Garde Maritime services.

However, Ranil- Maithri’s good governance government that came to power in 2015, took over the maritime security service and handed it over to the SL Navy. The then Commander of the SL Navy Travis Chinnaiah had stated that the government had earned billions through it. But as soon as Gotabhaya Rajapaksa comes to power in 2019, giving it back to the Avant-Garde Maritime services will cost the government more than 6 billion annually. Today the people of the country are suffering because Gotabhaya Rajapaksa is going to rule the country according to the oligarchs around him.

Dhammika Perera is one such oligarch. He is considered to be the richest Avaricious dealer in Sri Lanka. It goes without saying that he became the number one businessman.

Gotabhaya created a monopoly on the ceramic market in Sri Lanka by fraudulently banning the import of tiles. Casino tax fraud is over 5 billion. Dhammika Perera Avaricious dealer imported garbage to Sri Lanka from foreign countries in containers.

However, Avaricious dealer Dhammika is due to be sworn in as a powerful government minister today or tomorrow. Congratulations to him, this is likely to be Gotabhaya Rajapaksa's last attempt. His appointment is completely anti-criminal. It is immoral. Dhammika Perera is not seeking votes from any political party or from a national list. Gotabhaya Rajapaksa will have to pay for these appointments in the near future, bypassing a hole in the constitution.

President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa is playing with the lives of 22 million people in the country. He made Basil Rajapaksa the Minister of Finance and brought him to Parliament amending the Constitution in an anti-democratic manner.

Basil Rajapaksa and his henchmen PB Jayasundara, Cabraal, and Attygalle, who introduced themselves as great geniuses, have fled the country's economy trapped in a death trap.

To save the country from that catastrophe, Gotabhaya Rajapaksa is blatantly violating the constitution and bringing Ranil Wickremesinghe to power as the Prime Minister.

With his arrival, the middle class in the Gall-Face green and other struggles slowly slipped away with the joy of their Savior's arrival. But now, a month after he became prime minister, his progress is zero.

According to neo-liberal thinker Milton Friedman, Ranil Wickremesinghe is now taking steps to sell the core of the country to India before the anesthetized Sri Lankans open their eyes.

That’s now certain that Dhammika Perera will summon Parliament to expedite it and suck up the last remaining blood.

The people of the country must now understand that this Rajapaksa family will not hesitate to do anything to protect its power. Further delays in expelling all of them will result in the loss of our children and grandchildren to a country.

People must now realize that lone individuals cannot solve all the problems of a country. Unnecessary personal worship leads to the destruction of us. Therefore, I emphasize that a decision must be taken now to expel the Rajapaksas and their henchmen and create a people's government.
