The tense situation awakened upon the
Police’s attempt to dissolve a protest held in the Rambukkana area has
intensified, leading to a continuous assault on residents at the hand of the
Police, reports claimed.
Certain media reports claimed that the media
has been barred from entering the premises.
One unarmed civilian died and a few others
were injured from the gunfire by the police.
This Rambukkana protest was against the
incapable Government, especially against fuel shortage and price increment.
