An unidentified male body has been found floating near the Dikkovita fisheries harbor in Wattala in the early hours of Friday (05).
found the
dead body with the victim’s hands and feet bound floating on the Dikowita beach
in Wattala Sri Lanka. The victim’s head and feet were found enclosed in
two white plastic bags and tied. the deceased was estimated to be
between 35 and 40 years old and is approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall male.
Police said
it is suspected that the killing was the result of an incident between a group
of fishermen. The body was covered with white plastic bags, which have
been identified as bags used to store ice by fishermen.
No one was
found missing among the fisherman or from the fishing village. Yet we question
if the fisherman attempted to do the murder, why would they dump the body near their
area?
A total
of three unidentified bodies were discovered within two weeks. A week ago, a male
body washed up on Gall face beach near the protest site.
Meanwhile,
Sri Lanka Police and authorities are chasing behind the CCTV footage and social
media feeds to arrest individuals who entered the President’s house, President’s
secretary’s office, and temple trees. Seeking public support to identify
certain people.
However,
the government must pay attention to commence investigations to arrest corrupted
politicians.
