Tragedy struck in Vavuniya today (07) when the bodies of four
people from the same family were discovered in their home on Goodshed Road.
According to police reports, the deceased include a 42-year-old man, his
36-year-old wife, and their two young daughters aged 9 and 3 years.
The police suspect that the man may have murdered his wife and children before taking his own life. The details surrounding the incident are still under investigation.
The bodies of the children were found seated on two chairs inside the house, while the body
of the wife was discovered in one of the bedrooms.
